A little about me...

My name is Stephanie.  I wear a lot of hats...not literally, in fact I rarely wear hats, I think they make my ears look funny and I just don’t have a pretty enough face to pull them off! What I meant to say is I have many titles…..First and foremost I am a mother to two wonderfully amazing girls, Evelyn and Natalie (currently 9 and 6, although lately it seems more like 19 and 16 ughh!) I am a wife of almost 12 years, married to my high school sweetheart.  I am a teacher…(I teach reading intervention, english to students that speak other languages (I’m somewhat fluent in Spanish), and I am also a team teacher for part of the day with second graders for writing).  I am also a fitness coach...that is definitely a work in progress but that’ll be another blog...I am also a mommy to an 11 year old Boston Terrier….most people have their dog babies until they have their real babies, but not me…..she is still my baby, I love her dearly!  My family also has a cute little stinky boy named Squeak,

Losing Your SH*T

I’m sure I’m not alone on this one….but sometimes it's nice to hear of other moms that lose their sh*t too so you don’t feel half as bad…Feel free to comment below a time you lost it, or some advice if you’re a perfect mom and never lost it.  Sometimes I feel like I am always annoyed and bothered by all little things….for instance, my 6 year old tattles on everything, and she can’t even go into the bathroom alone if the light is off (yes she’s tall enough to flip the switch herself, but apparently it's just too scary to have to do that in the dark), my 9 year old is always bored and constantly asking for sleepovers or to make slime.  Sometimes it all just gets bottled up and you LOSE YOUR SH*T.  Maybe you yell or cry or do something stupid.  Mine usually involves some type of screaming and a swear word or two.  I gotta believe all moms do it.  I have the best mom ever, and growing up I thought so as well.  I do remember one day when she just lost her sh*t all over the kitchen.
